Welcome to Mend ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Mend is a financial habit app that helps users build savings discipline by blocking selected betting apps until a chosen percentage of their intended bet is saved first.
The App is available through the following subscription options:
All subscriptions are purchased through the Google Play Store. Prices are shown in your local currency within the App. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. If you cancel, you retain access to App features until the end of the current paid period.
New users receive a 3-day free trial upon first subscribing. The trial begins when you complete onboarding and start a subscription. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled beforehand.
The App uses Android Accessibility Service to detect when selected betting apps are opened and display a save screen. Key points:

Your Mend account is personal to you. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@trymendapp.com.
Mend is a habit and savings tool. Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to stop gambling. The App is designed to help users redirect spending into savings — it is not a medical, therapeutic, or addiction treatment service.
Mend tracks your vault balance as a record of amounts you have committed to save. In the current version of the App, Mend does not move real money. You are responsible for making actual transfers to your chosen savings app after each save ritual. Mend is not a bank, wallet, or financial institution.
The App is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mend and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The App, including all content, design, code, and branding, is owned by Mend and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.

Continued use of the App after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour harmful to other users or our service. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account and all data.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
